Old Market (Sharm El Maya)
The Old Market is the best area for local food at local prices. It is the most authentic part of town, with grills, fish restaurants and Egyptian food.

Naama Bay

Soho Square in Sharks Bay has a cluster of restaurants and cafes around the dancing fountain. It is quieter than Naama Bay and good for families, and you can watch the fountain show before or after dinner. Book a terrace table in high season.

- Farsha Cafe in Hadaba: a relaxed cafe and bar on the cliffs, with cushions, lanterns and a view of the sea. It is better for drinks and the sunset than for a big meal.
