These terms apply to every trip you book with PyraSafari on pyrasafari.com, on WhatsApp or by email. By booking, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Cancellation and Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
PyraSafari is a tour company based in Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai, Egypt. We sell and arrange excursions in and from Sharm El Sheikh. You can reach us on WhatsApp +20 100 888 3323 or at bookings@pyrasafari.com.
2. Your booking
- Your booking is confirmed when you receive our booking confirmation email. We then confirm your pickup time on WhatsApp, usually the day before the trip.
- The price on the trip page is per person unless the page says per boat, per car or per group.
- Please give us a correct hotel name and a WhatsApp number we can reach. If we cannot reach you, we cannot confirm your pickup.
- If a trip has a maximum group size, the booking form will not accept more guests. Ask us on WhatsApp for larger groups.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices are in British pounds (GBP) and include the items listed under “Included” on each trip page. Items under “Not included” are paid by you.
- Most trips are booked with a 30% deposit paid online by card or PayPal. The rest is paid in cash on the day of the trip, to your guide or driver. We confirm the amount on WhatsApp.
- You can also choose to pay the full price online when the booking form offers it.
- Optional extras (for example photos or a private upgrade) are shown in the booking form with their price before you pay.
4. Cancellations and changes
If you cancel, our Cancellation and Refund Policy applies. In short: full refund up to 48 hours before most shared day trips. Flight trips, ferry trips, private bookings and overnight desert camping are non-refundable once paid. If we cancel, for example because of weather or sea conditions, you choose a full refund or a new date.
5. Health, safety and fitness
- Tell us before booking about any medical condition, pregnancy, mobility needs or allergies that may matter on the trip.
- Some activities (quad bikes, diving, snorkelling, horse and camel riding, hiking) are physical and carry some risk. Follow the instructions of your guide, captain or instructor at all times.
- Diving: you may need to complete a medical questionnaire. Certified dives need proof of certification.
- Children must be with an adult. Minimum ages for some activities are shown on the trip page; ask us if unsure.
- A guide may refuse to let you take part if they believe it is unsafe, for example after alcohol. In that case no refund is due.
6. Documents
You are responsible for your passport, visas and any permits needed. Trips to Jordan (Petra) and some other trips need your passport details in advance. National park and ferry rules may change at short notice.
7. Timing and changes on the day
Times on trip pages are a guide. Routes and timings may change because of weather, sea conditions, traffic, police checkpoints or park rules. We may change the order of a programme or replace a stop with a similar one to keep you safe.
8. Local partners
Some services are run by licensed local partners (for example boats, dive centres, airlines, ferries, hotels and show venues). Their own rules also apply. We choose partners carefully and stay your contact before and during the trip.
9. Liability
We take reasonable care in arranging your trip. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by events outside our control, by your own actions, or by not following safety instructions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. We recommend travel insurance that covers the activities you book.
10. Personal belongings
Look after your own belongings, phones and cameras, especially on boats and in the desert.
11. Complaints
If something is not right, tell your guide straight away or message us on WhatsApp +20 100 888 3323 so we can fix it on the day. You can also email bookings@pyrasafari.com within 14 days of the trip.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. This does not take away any rights you have under the consumer law of your home country.
